When Mayanna goes on a longer than usual walk-about into the desolate Australian Outback, she has no idea that her young life is about to drastically change forever.. Her innocence is stolen from her, the moment she is assalted by four white prosepctors. Unable to contain her shame and humiliation, she decides to leave the safety and comfort of her family. over 150 years later Mayanna is reincarnated in the form of another Aboriginal young woman. The two women are forced to confront their undeniable connection. Jagged is the story of retribution and the possibility of forgiveness. The reader will have to wait until the end of the novel to find out the resolution.

Grace bruno has been writing since she was eight years old. her first attempt was a poem about a rabbit. From there she began to write short stories. a few years ago she sold a screenplay, entitled Carlson's Crew. this is the story of Vince Carlson, a fire Captain in the midst of a mid-life crisis. he has to decide whether or not to remain a fire captain or to start again as an orthopedic surgeon.
